Laws That Pertain to Crimes in Schools

Tex. Educ. Code Ann. §§ 38.015 and 38.016 for special provisions regarding Self- Administration of Prescription Asthma Medicine by Students and Psychotropic Drugs and Psychiatric Evaluations or Examinations.

 

* If John had been taken into custody by police and then to Texas Juvenile Justice Center. He would still be alive.

* If a suicide prevention assistance program had been implemented into KISD local policy John would have received help.

* If Principal Sheila Anderson had not ignored John's and his parent’s numerous reports of relentless bullying, assaults, being tripped, harassed for his weight and race he would still be alive.

On the day John took his life it is coincidental that Ms. Anderson was being replaced. New applications for her job were accepted that day.

 

* If Kerens had updated their safety, anti-bully prevention the gang of Keren's students would not have attacked John the day before he took his life.

* If the school counselor Ms. Conner would have communicated John's psychological notes to his parents John could have been helped. No records released.
