One of JR’s few chores on the farm was to take out the trash. He would remember to do everything else and forget to take out the trash. So, our motto is Take Out the Trash.

John was needlessly lost to bully suicide May 6th, 2014. John was a 14-year-old student at Kerens ISD TX. Several years of bullying for his weight. His family and friends reported bullying, but it was not taken seriously enough to be investigated or resolved. John resorted to taking his life after he got home from school.

4,400 students on average take their lives every year. So far, no laws passed have been tough enough to stop the deaths of these students. Adults in a workplace have laws to protect them from harassment and assault. It is unthinkable in our modern society that there is no law to protect our youth while trying to build their futures while getting an education.

John was the second suicide at Kerens ISD.

Marvin Aldridge was the first suicide at KISD, he hung himself in the schools' gym. There have been others i.e. Johnny Coxx that have also attempted suicide but as far as I know none have succeeded. You will see his story here too. Students are afraid to report for many reasons. It's time for a change. It's time for them to live and succeed.

Thank you for your support.
